A new 2D shooter from the designer of Ikaruga has been confirmed for Nintendo’s 3DS. Hiroshi Iuchi is currently a freelancer game designer who also made Radiant Silvergun and Gradius V. His newest 2D shooter Kokuga looks to have up to four player co-op gameplay, we can only guess what kind of insanity that will add! Kokuga will be released in Japan on September 7th.
