HarmonQuest Season 3 Premieres This Sunday
If you don’t know by now, Rick & Morty creator Dan Harmon has this show where he and his friends play Pathfinder in front of a live audience, and their actions in the game are rendered in Flash animation as they happen. It’s called HarmonQuest and it also stars comedians Erin McGathy and Jeff B. Davis, plus special guests. Season 3 is about to launch, and since it’s been a while since Season 2, here’s a little catch-up:
The world has been destroyed by the demon helling! To make things worse, Fondue (Dan Harmon) is dead, and his spirit is trapped inside a sword. It’s now up to Buer (Erin McGathy), Boneweevil (Jeff B. Davis), and a mysterious newcomer to find a way to undo the damage done and repair the mistakes that led to the end of the world (and were like, definitely their fault). Seeking the “Beast of Beginning” to reset their past, our heroes traverse time and space to set the world right, but run into increasingly dangerous complications caused by trying to alter the fabric of reality itself.
Got all that? In the opener to Season 3, which will become available on VRV this Sunday, our battered heroes emerge from the material plane still fighting as best they can. A new and powerful foe, the Puppet King, stands in their way this time, but they have the help of Chadge Zoobag, plus one mysterious unidentified friend.
The quest continues this weekend as HarmonQuest Season 3 launches on VRV, where the previous two seasons are exclusively streaming. Season 3 will consist of ten episodes, which will debut every Sunday for the next few weeks. The trailer on Vimeo doesn’t seem to be embeddable, so use this link to view it.
