Halo 5 Not Coming To PC?

A little while back, a report stated that there was a “high probability” that Halo 5 would be coming to PC. To which many Halo fans rejoiced. However, on Twitter, 343 Industries Frank O’Connor revealed that his words were taken out of context, and that though he would like Halo 5 on PC, it’s not a guarantee:

“I didn’t “mention” it, I was asked a question and gave the same noncommittal answer I’ve been giving to that question for ten years.”

This was then affirmed by Aaron Greenberg of Xbox, who said quite plainly if Halo 5 was coming to PC like it was rumored to:

“This is not true. Game is being made exclusively for Xbox One.”

Some fans don’t give up though, and reasked O’Conner, citing what Greenberg said as contradictory, to which O’Conner replied:

“No he didn’t, he said the same thing I did. It’s not out of the question, but there’s no plan at this time?”

So it appears that Halo 5 will not be coming to PC at this time. As O’Connor noted, though the desire to take it to PC has been stated in every Halo game, none have made the transition, and the series has not suffered sales wise because of the lack of PC availability. So will this change? Time will tell.
