Gotta cringe for the old cheetah print 'fashion' cliche. If they weren't going for funny or outrageous, they actually could have asked any of their actors to dress like they normally do outside of the show and call it a day. Japanese actors in general dress very well, more or less.

Was going to make a joke about Souji's actor just dressing like he usually does...but Haruta's reaction was just priceless.

And Shougo, it's a not gif of someone getting slapped we need, it's a gif of Haruta as one of his many toku characters owning someone.

She becomes the first female Green in Super Sentai history, and Toei cancels Tokkyuger to give Kyoryuger 50 additional episodes to explore this new development! Yay! :laugh:

...Am I just that bad at recognizing old actors or do I really just get that lost in their characters? I know I've recognized previous actors before, even when they weren't reprising the exact same role as last time.

Part of me always finds it weird when Tokusatsu actors reinvent themselves in the same franchise they previously played a roll in, because I know there are some who are sharper about it and will pick up on it right away ("Oh! That's Deka Yellow! What's she doing here?" or "Oh! That's Goggle Black/Dyna Black! How come no one in the show is mentioning that?"). I know Power Rangers is just as guilty these days (Red Wild Force Ranger returning as Deker), but it still seems strange to me. I don't care so much when the actors go from one franchise to another (from Super Sentai to Kamen Rider or whatever) because they are spreading their face and talents around. But I guess I should just keep shrugging it off... An actor is actor, a paycheck is a paycheck, and love for the franchise and/or the fans is always awesome.

Just for the sake of OCD completeness;

Kyoryu Grey is played by Bouken Silver.
Ian's dead treasure-hunting partner is played by Go-On Black.
Endolf is voiced by the former Mega Blue.
The Meteor-themed member of the re-occuring "Extinctioneers" trio of Debo Monsters shares the same voice actor as Ninjaman (who was also Doctor Z in Akibaranger s1).

And while they're not Sentai alumni, the girl who plays Mikoto (the female lead in the movie) was in Tomica Hero Rescue Fire, and the VA for Deathryuger/D is also the voice of Ultraman Zero.

Any more significant cameos I'm forgetting? I know Doctor Ulshade has also voiced various MotW going all the way back to Dairanger, and Nossan's dead brother-in-law was AR Kabuto, but they're not really roles you'd recognise people for.
