[J-MOVIE] Zatoichi The Last (2010)

It's hailed as the last form of any media about the legendary Zatoichi, the blind swordsman. I don't know how long that'll last, but hey they went back to the old 60/70s style films for this "final" installment. But I don't know about the casting. Shingo Katori (from the J-Pop group SMAP) has always been a bit of a loud-mouthed goofball and he doesn't really seem the part.

By the way, if he seems familiar it's because you've seen him hundreds of times in one of the several rotating .GIFs I have in my signature. He plays the Monkey King in that one :sweat: See what I mean about strange casting?!

There's only 1 true zatoichi and thats Katsu-shin!! Not really feeling this one...

Me neither. They had a really hight budget, and lots of hype for the 2003 reboot. But this movie just seems half-assed. Maybe as we near the date, it'll start to look more promising.
