Another one I just remembered, I love it when baddies get thrown from cliffs or high places or into a body of water, I like it more when it's the grunts. Always makes me laugh, idk why.

It really disappointing we rarely see any kaiju/kaijin head being sliced off anymore. Today kaiju/kaijin don't even looks like getting battle damage from the attack. Looks a bit too fake and dull

-Finishers that require setup.
Theres a lot of it in faiz and bit of this in OOO's as well. Made infinately more entertaining when the hero is facing more than one enemy. It also makes their eventual victory all the more impressive

-Collateral damage.
Faiz seemed to really like damaging and destroying cars in particular. But it helped to get across the destructive powers of both the rider gears and the orphanocs. I"m having trouble remembering specific examples of this in other shows though...:sweat:

-Suit/ Armor damage
Helps to separate a big bad from a monster of the week. I especially love this in old sentai, where you could see bits of the suits inner workings beneath the damaged areas.

Cards, I love riders who use cards. Except for Ryuki. Also when a character doesn't want to fight but doesn't have a choice.

I have a love for giant Metal Animals for mecha. Particularly the Power animals from gaoranger.
