your opinion on telemarketers

so bout a week ago i was reading the croc hunter's (may he rest in peace) death thread and how there were several assholes over at rangerboard disrespecting his death, then i noticed that someone, don't remember nor care who, said that they're as bad as telemarketers.

now i'm a telemarketer, it's not a fun job, i'm quitting next week, but it's got me thinking, just how do you feel about telemarketers?

I utterly despise telemarketers. I think telemarketing should be outlawed.

I'm a telephone surveyor and people always bad mouth me over the phone. So personally I think it's a job and they do what they got to do. It's very hard to find work these days so these kind of jobs get filled by potential lawyers, teachers, doctors and the like. Basiclly, everyone has to make a living somehow.

Okay, maybe that was a bit too harsh. Maybe it isn't the telemarketers themselves, maybe it's the people who are making them do this. Companies are getting so desperate to sell their **** nowadays that they even have to harrass people on the phone. And in order to get contact to these people they have to ruin other people's lives by forcing them to sit at their deak and repeatedly phone up as many people as possible telling them about their crap that they're trying to sell..
