You know.... for how innately cool ninjas are..... it's pretty surprising the few good ninja movies any of us can think of.

I mean, I did like 3 Ninjas back in the day, but.... isn't it weird?

Everyone loves ninjas, but you're hard pressed to find a ninja flick worth a damn. :sly:

Shame nobody's been motivated enough to try a Ninja Gaiden movie. But then again, Hollywood would probably screw that up, too.

I thought Owl's Castle was good when I saw it. It's not a fanciful, over-the-top movie about ninjas, but tried to be more realistic (I'm sure there's other movies out there that handle it better, though). I also liked Akakage for being just a crazy time, poking fun at ninja cliches (similar to Kakuranger).

Shame nobody's been motivated enough to try a Ninja Gaiden movie. But then again, Hollywood would probably screw that up, too.

You mean you have no interest in seeing Shia LaBeouf as Ryu?!?! :laugh:

I loved this series when I was young and I've just recently gotten the newly released DVD set. Its still awesome to me, but the transfer is pretty bad and it doesn't look like there was much of an effort to restore the footage. =\

Actually I like a good number of these that Bolt mentions. Nice list.

I dunno what Ninja in the USA is. Looks cool though! Funny name. I'll have to check it out.
