Shocker
it set the standard for all enemy groups to come. All Rider enemies apply the Shocker formula to the letter [Destron, GOD, Delzer, Neoshocker, Smart Brain] or abstractly [Dogma, Jindogma, Crisis, The Foundation, Grongi, UnKnown, Mirror World Monsters]. Staying power, it was around longer than any other Rider enemy ever. It was longer than say Geddon and Garander together. Or even Dogma and Jindogma combined. It had the most interesting Major officers ever. In fact IMO the only dai kanbu who come close are #1 Apollo Geist, #2 Doctor G and Marshall Armor, and Shadow Moon.

Silver Imperial Army Zone: The true identity of their leader and the power struggle between Garoa and Shubalie.
Space Pirates Balban: Their eeeevil captain and their internal affairs.
Saima Family: They had their own big drama just as the Tatsumi Siblings.
Rinjuuden: A pleasant surprise after the lame Negative Syndicate.

Dark Science Empire Deathdark -- They had a hand in every catastrophe or disaster in the world's history, for crying out loud.
New Empire Gear -- Dr. Man's hardcore.
Great Star Army Gozma -- A collection of the universe's best generals, fighters, and brutes. Led by the massive, manipulative Star King Bazuu, who eats and shits planets for breakfast.
Restructuring Experiment Empire Mes -- The best soldiers genetics can offer; a truly great mix of strong, crazy, and evil opponents; they didn't mess around. Also great is Kaura and his Alien Hunters (Kaura probably being my all time favorite tokusatsu villain period).
Underground Empire Tube -- An interesting group; the ruthless Zeba, with his secret past; tough guy mama's boy Baraba; the woman masquerading as a man and the ninja assistant who loves her; the devil ninja; the outcast thief who wants it all. Great stuff.
Armed Brain Force Volt -- It's like a who's who collection of past sentai bad asses! Points deducted, however, for Butchy and Girudos.
Violent Demon 100 Tribe -- Evil and creepy. Special shout-out to the Nagare Bouma, Yamimaru and Kirika, two of the best extra villains.
Space Gang Bozoku -- Hilarious alien biker punks. C'mon.
Darkzide (Changerion) -- A majority of them had their own little agendas, from the absurd to the deadly serious.
Golgom -- Creepy.
Wahler Empire (Spielban) -- A real interesting mix, led by the insane Pandora. IMO, Machiko Soga's best role.
Neros Empire (Metalder) -- Godneros was one mean, old son of a bitch. Sure, he built a million robots, none the equal of his rival's sole creation Metalder, but he tried!
Space Mafia (Blue Swat) -- Originally sort of like Changerion's Darkzide in that they mostly had their own individual agenda. Bad guys who possess people, a number of high stature (such as the military), to wreak havoc? Crazy stuff.

This about sums up that in my favorites. I have others but it's really hard to beat this enemy group, at least in my opinion. My other favorite would have to be:
Government of Darkness- Come on, look at the acronym. GOD. You gotta be pretty evil to try that stunt. Throw in some great monster designs (at least for the first half...), and not to mention friggin' Apollo Geist and you got a pretty menacing group. The minions are just downright evil as well.

I thought maybe you'd prefer Ley Wanda over Kaura since... you know, he's Hirose. And besides, his mutated form has that cRaZy Clock Stop (something far better than Kabuto's Clock Up!) :laugh: :laugh:

Yeah, it's a tough call, but that's how awesome Mes is. The only weak link, IMO, is Ley Garusu, but I think the writers felt the same way, which is why he had an early departure. :laugh: But when I was a kid, I did think Wanda was the coolest person of all time.
