Your favorite "Dark" Power Rangers storylines

Zoldars comments about The Darkness in Tommy's soul was a pretty chilling moment...... Oh wait that was from MY Dino Thunder script never mind.

As far as I'm concerned Astronemas "Death" is Power Rangers Darkest moment. For Andros to Spend his life searching for his sister only to be the one to kill her, THEN to have ecliptor rush into the room and chastise him and have to stand there while Ecliptor mourns her ONLY THEN to have to Kill Zordon. Power Ranger Greatest Moment was also it's darkest.

So I guess the top two would be..

Andros killing his sister and Zordon

And the death of Kendrix.

I would personally put Cole's parents murder as #3, the genocide of Cruger's people as #4 and as for #5, this is just my opinion but the epic battle/prologue to Mystic Force, when they explain just how much it cost them to seal the Master's forces again.

That's pretty dark for me.

Thats the great thing about Power Rangers....looking back on it.

You watch The episode, poor acting, bad SFX, rushed Dialogue....But you look back on it and think of the script...OH the script! and THAT is where it shines! Forget C2D, think of Reflections Pt.2 a Story of a Man choosing Justice over Vengeance in the apprehention of the man who murdered his father.....On a show where you can't talk about Vengeance or Murder. THAT was magnificent story telling.

I didnt think the acting or SFX were bad... I still look at them and think they're good. And in reflexions, they gave that monster such a memorable and powerful voice. I loved it.

wait, MF is in there and nothing about Ransik or Frax?

Well the team-up in WF really hurt Ransik's character to me. That and at the end of TF, when Nadira's character almost completely changed in the span of one episode, which in turn led to Ransik's change bothered me.

Frax I never had sympathy for.

I thought the message was quite powerful. Hate breeds hate.

Yeah They said at Youmacon they were going for Hannibal Lector and TRYING to have a voice that was something ...MORE than normal. And Don't get me wrong when I say bad acting Bad SFX, I was refering more to the Cliche's that people try to create to complain about.

As for Frax and Ransik....YEAH, no sympathy for Frax...just didn't grab me. But Ransik....Hehe. Two moments stand out with Ransik....his line at the end of TF "I surrender" it wasn't a proclimation, it was simply a statment....He knew he was done and he had no fight left in him....and the TF/WF team-up....he deserved a happy ending.

I'm kind of surprised by that. I mean, I remember being chilled and moved when Frax was being tazered and dragged away to be killed/turned into a robot. Or the moment where he tells his story and breaks Ransiks last vial of serum. I just loved Frax and he had so much emotion towards Nadira in his final moments.
