I remeber when I saw some screens of this being filmed, and was literally like "Will Ferrell...? Really?" I mean, the show was semi-serious, and would make for a good movie if taken a bit more serious than the show...but Will Ferrell? Ugh. No.

Will Ferrell can do a semi-serious movie if he wanted to, just look at Stranger than Fiction. But yeah this probably won't go the serious route.

Oh God I remember that old movie...or was it a show..?

I remember my sister used to watch it over...and over...and over again.

The parts I clearly remember are someone breaking their leg and needing a splint...someone fighting over boiling water/burning it...and the kids finding that ivory object that was cold to the touch.
