Why the Re-cast on Decade?

[sa1amandra]

I think all the recent Rider Shows (Kabuto, Den-o, Kiva) will not have recasts. Cause they probably still have the same looks

[Rider Strike]

Watch Episode 1 Subbed... it answers the question... I think you'll like the answer...

I think there will be recasts. Hiro Mizushima is a drama actor, what time does he have for Kamen Rider. Same for Takeru

[Aoi Kurenai]

But in Takeru's case, Den-O was unusually popular, I don't think it would be too much of a stretch to see him back.

[Ladymercury]

I think Takeru coming back would be a stretch cause of schedule conflicts, also I haven't seen the last movie, but didn't they kind of write off Ryoutarou's character?

[Aoi Kurenai]

Not...really. Or at least that's what I understood from Iga's review, it closed the series out without actually closing it out.

If he's only on for two or three episodes, the schedules probably won't be in conflict, or any of the actors that have become big after their roles, I think Takeru's the most likely to return.

[Hidden Masta]

Who needs him?! Just get the Imagin back!

[Adrienzo]

If Koji Seto managed to do Koizora and Kiva (which he was both main characters of), without Kiva suffering any lack of Wataru screetime, plus him redying his hair constantly, I am sure anyone including the likes of Hiro and Takeru can come back.

2 or 3 episode max, its not a lot, overall its 10-15 minutes worth of screentime, and even if they are super busy they can do some phone-in dubbing for the Rider form scenes.

[Hidden Masta]

Phone in dubbing?.....

Kabuto with a staticy cell phone voice: "Walking the path of heaven Tend...*beeeeeeeeep*"

ren looks like an old man

You have an odd definition of old then.

Anyway remember with the recasts its not supposed to be a different character/alternate version of the character. Its pretty much a "ITS A DIFFERENT CHARACTER, SO THEY LOOK DIFFERENT" cop out for the recasts.
