Why I love Precure.

I like the precure shows for several reasons, none of them wrong.
1) Every character is well-rounded. You actually believe that they're people and not just filler in the background. Cure White's dog got a focus ep, for crying out loud.
2)There's a rich cosmology. So many alternate dimensions connecting to earth, so many forces of light and darkness.
3) The issues they face( balancing superheroics and a normal life, trying to fight murderous forces without fulling understanding their own power) just seem real.
4) The heroic speeches. Even in the face of all beautiful things being removed by force, they refuse to give up hope and will tell you why.
5) In a fight with a major enemy, the cures refused to use their big move on him, because up until his reveal, they thought of him as a friend. And this convinced him to stone cold surrender.
6) But the main reason, as seen here, is simple. THESE GIRLS KICK ASS.

Yeah, the kicking ass is why I love PreCure too.

(You know, except for #5, you could add all those attributes to Kamen Riders)

Precure 5 is the best series IMO. I loved it. I just wish a good group would finish subbing it.

In the show, they have so many animations that they have to use to save budget. Which is why they always have to go full incantation to use the marble screw max. However, there was a clip of DX Allstars 2, where Black and White shotgun the marble screw in half a second. They're not limited that way.

One of my favorite moments in the show is when they filled out Granny Yukishiro's backstory. The conversation goes something like this:
"You ever feel like there were times you couldn't do anything?"
"Oh yes, girls. I've felt that way on big tests, when I lost loves, and when the city disappeared."
Both girls blink and ask for clarification and Granny explains how she and some friends climbed the hill overlooking Nagasaki in the weeks after the bomb dropped. The city was freaking gone. She felt like there was nothing left to live for, but Mipple spoke to her thoughts that she shouldn't give up hope, as tomorrow would be a better day.
"Why didn't you tell me sooner?"
"You never asked."

I like Fresh the most cuz I really dug the whole Eas / Passion storyline, but the others are pretty good as well, even though I haven't finished watching all of them ><
