It's a matter of opinion and debate. I don't think it does. OH BOY STUFF POPS OUT. If people enjoy that, good for them. Even before I had to wear glasses, I didn't care about 3d.

C'mon... you know there's more to it than that!

I will not. The other advances in technology (color, sound) didn't require me to bring anything more than myself, a desire to be entertained, and (perhaps) suspension of disbelief. Anything asking me to bring more than that, quite simply, is asking too much.

Unless if you're a super oldie (in which case I apologize for calling you a super oldie), you weren't around for the introduction of things like color and sound.

The 3DTV glasses are comfortable as hell. Love 'em.

To put it this way, in a metaphor.

This 3DTV they're trying to push now is Laserdisc. I'm waiting for DVD. Same basic technology, but frankly, it's not there yet.

Anyone can try it for themselves, as most Best Buy's have a display setup. Occasionally the batteries will be dead, but you can get a feel for the glasses at least.

The whole 3-D trend is nothing but a marketing scheme. Everyone should know that by now.

No, I don't. They're not huge, but the lenses are about 2 inches by 1.
