Why do some fans dislike Battlizers?

Every year, we get a Battlizer for the Red Ranger since PRiS (except for Jungle Fury). Many PR fans likes the Battlizer and many others hates Battlizers.

Why do some fans like the Battlizer or why some of you guys dislike them?

Most of them seem clunky,useless, and they make the red ranger even more godly than he already is.

In Space was alright though...

It makes the Red ranger too strong and undefeatable. He then completely overshadows the other rangers. Also, the show is more interesting when the rangers have to struggle to win and Battlizers just takes the fun out of the show.

i think this is what you were trying to say.


the Battlizer just to me felt like they were trying to hard to sell toys, plus they bring it out so fast against a low level enemy,it just seems pointless.also for a show to focus so much on teamwork they really like to single out other rangers,thats why i liked the S.W.AT Mode in S.P.D becuse it gave them all a power up.

Exactly. Battilizers turn it from Power Rangers to Red and the background singers. Plus a lot of them are god awful ugly

It makes the Red superior to his teammates and it has the infamous "battle thong"(some of them do).

Most fans see it as just a marketing tool to sale more toys. Also, it makes the red ranger as overrated as possible.

It's the fact that they come in, meant merely for the Red Ranger, and never show up more than four or five times. It's either that or they use it ALL THE TIME.

I really wouldn't hate them so much, even as just a Red Ranger thing, if they fit into the show and were used sparringly.

I think people would like the Battlizer if it had like a fatal-side effect, so it can only be used as a last resort.

I like the battlizer because I think of it as a Kamen Rider Final Form, the ultimate upgrade.
