My answer, Doug did well in bringing back Tommy and his homages to the past and the Lost and Found in Translation, but that's about it. He doesn't seem to grasp or know how to create a real epic feeling or know how to create an entire world of fantasy. Sometimes relying too strongly and putting in goofy and pointless characters or stories all together. Then he goes and does awesome things like Samurai Quest and Thunder Storm and you just wish he'd do entire series like that.

Bruce wiffs and wiffs hard when it comes to not acknowledging the past and PR's rich history. But where he's stronger by far than Sloan is that when he creates a world you can practically see and feel that entire new world that embraces the Sentai footage and realizes an entire world that has many adventures and strong characters in it. Not to mention his incredible and unmatched talent for assembling some of the best casts that PR's ever seen. If he could somehow incorporate and make these new world really fit in the PR Universe and tapestry he'd have himself a lot of happy fans.

While he has his weaknesses, my vote goes for Bruce.

What about me? That's one of the biggest reason that can turn into a flame war about Doug Sloan and Bruce Kalish, how good they are.

I like SPD way better than Ninja Storm

...He did. It was called MMPR season three and Zeo, but since you're not one to really go for the goofy years, it's sadly going to always slip past

What's ironic though is that MF is almost exactly MMPR season three or on a MMPR level to a large majority and you have no problem with it, methinks there's a slight bias involved because of the involvment of Bwucey.:anime:

Yellow's right on the money, I prefer Judd Lynn, whose been sorley left out of this little affair. He assembled the best PR cast before SPD (Time Force), wrote some of the darkest and most ground breaking storylines the series has ever been graced with. I still don't see a Ranger, particulary a male, sacrifice himself for the team since "The Power of Pink".

He also turned Turbo from being the death kneel of the franchise into the anchor that sustained it until In Space came along to soldify it's continued survival

Well then, I guess I WILL add John Tzachor to the list, he was the EP during PRWF, a Disney season. And just for the record, Judd was a Story Editor not a producer, that was John Tzachor who was in charge from MMPR to PRWF.

You`re also forgeting Scott Page Pagter, one of the greatest guys who ever worked on the show. He`s the one who finalized commercials, music and every voice over in PR history up till the move to NZ. When he wasn`t there to do the voice work. During the initial first 10 eps of NS, the Rangerprodtions had to deal with the WORST voice overs in Ranger history, I`m looking at you Sally:thumbs:


And you all are forgeting Ann Austen and Jackie Marchand, they`re both EPs too. They shared the role with Bruce and AND Doug. Like Stan Lee`s writing and Jack Kirby`s vision, the EPs in the last five years have not been two but rather FOUR.

Pay respect to where it is due.
