FF7 Who do you prefer as Aerith's love interest?

Aerith and Zack have romantic feelings for each other but he died.
Then Aerith and Cloud Strife became an Item but she got killed by Sephiroth. If you think about it Aerith might have ended with Zack in the after life since her death kind of reunites them.

Zack is her first love and I think the only reason she fell for Cloud is that he reminds her of her. I attached a poll on this thread so you can vote for your prefered couple.

The romance between Aerith and Cloud is one of the reasons why Cloud hates Sephiroth. It's what make the story legendary in the first place. I felt the writers betrayed fans with the prequel by saying Zack is her one great love.

I am not a fan of crisis core so I will go for Cloud, he is the original intended love interest for Aeris and not that fan fiction turn canon character.

Zack because he is her first love and when she died she and Zack ends up together. If Zack was alive I don't think she will develop feelings for Cloud. Cloud is just a replacement and once she was with the real Zack again, it's adios Cloud instantly.

aerith had actual chemistry with zack. i can't understand how people say her and cloud have chemistry, i don't see it even 1%. and i can't understand how anyone could even like them once you get past the aesthetics. once you look deeper, you see a woman not even wanting the man for himself; it's pure projection. and the man isn't even all there, since he's not complete. it's just really dysfunctional and in reality, i can't see the two having a relationship last even a year.
