Goddamn it. Why am I not surprised to see this occurred in Mississippi? >.< It just furthers the image of my state being backwards and racist even though this is not true for all people from here.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I lived up in Florence for about four years and I found it to be much more accepting of people (not everyone of course...) than back here. Sad thing is that both of our states have serious problems with racism and they don't look to be going away.
