So much for enjoying a jolly Christmas vacation. ♦ It’s Christmas Eve! Let’s Get This Winter Break Started! In “White Christmas”, the only white thing is the snow. There is a Christmas tree in a few scenes, but it barely has lights on it. Susin High is an independent private high school located in a secluded area in the mountains of Gangwando. The scenery is very picturesque, especially during the winter. This is a no-nonsense school and the only activity allowed is studying. Students live in dorms and parent visitation is minimal. The students nicknamed their high school “3 Year Alcatraz”. It’s Christmas Eve, December 24, 2010, and several buses […]

I didn’t expect a drama like this to have such an impact. The idea of being stuck in a snowed-in school with a killer sounds terrifying, but the drama managed to make it so much more than just a horror trope. The mind games the killer plays are what really sold it for me. It’s like watching a chess match where every move could be life or death. I wouldn’t say it’s the best holiday binge, but if you’re in the mood for something intense, it’s a solid choice.

While I enjoyed the suspense and the psychological aspects, I have to say the pacing threw me off at times. The series starts slow, and for a show that’s only eight episodes, that can be frustrating. That said, once it picks up, the intensity is gripping. The interplay between the students and the killer feels raw and real, but I wish the show had explored some of the students’ backstories more deeply. It’s a good watch, but not without its flaws.

Honestly, I came for the suspense and stayed for the clever storytelling. This isn’t a blood-and-gore type of thriller, which I appreciated. The psychological battles were more than enough to keep me hooked. If you’re looking for a drama that’s thought-provoking but doesn’t rely on shock value, "White Christmas" is worth your time. Plus, the soundtrack is genuinely one of the best I’ve heard in a long time.

White Christmas" had me glued to my screen. The way the show delves into human psychology is just brilliant. Every episode felt like a puzzle piece falling into place. The serial killer wasn’t just terrifying—he was fascinating. And the students? They were so well-written, each with their own struggles and motivations. The soundtrack deserves every bit of praise it gets. If you haven’t watched this yet, you’re missing out!

"White Christmas" stands out because of how it handles tension. It doesn’t just throw plot twists at you; it makes you think about human nature and morality. The confined setting was perfect for building suspense, and the characters felt real. Add to that a stellar soundtrack, and you’ve got a show that’s absolutely worth recommending.

The cast was loaded with young actors that I recognized. So I thought: 'Hhmm? I should give this K-drama a chance.” It was so worth it. But that soundtrack made it extra worthy! It is such an eclectic mix of songs from Christmas chorals to RAP, and the music fits each scene perfectly.

Exactly. It delves into the human psyche. Each kid has their own story and you just wanted them to overcome. But that psychologist/serial killer? He made me angry. Not because he's a killer. But because he's a DOCTOR! I hate doctors who take advantage of their patients and manipulate them instead of curing them. Talk about immoral!
