Which Shinkenger episodes do you not want to be used in PR?

The one where Takeru becomes a cat - Stupid, stupid, stupid. I think it's a contender for the single worst Sentai episode anywhere, ever

Episode 39 - We don't need to see the Red ranger smack Pink around (again)

Richard Brown - Incredibly racist/nationalist, and I have no idea how they'd translate that for an American audience. It could be done with an older guy wanting to be a samurai and not being able to keep up with the kids, but even that would look a bit mean-spirited

Episodes 4, 9 and any other episode where everyone piles on Ryuunosuke - Seriously, Toei, why write the character if you were going to make him the butt of every joke? No one likes him, no one ships him with anyone, everybody makes fun of him

Nanashi Rifle Squad - I like this episode, but it would definitely be toned down for Power Rangers and then it'd lose its effect

Wow, I disagree with all of these, but lets just go with the Richard Brown part. How is that racist? He's a man who wants to live by the bushido code. He doesnt have Mojikara but he still fights. He is able to stand and fight when even the other rangers, in full mojikara-enhanced supersuits can't. He's probably one of the best one-off american characters I've ever seen in toku.

Also, why is it so important that someone ship Ryuunosuke with someone? I liked the character, I liked the fact that he was so fiercely loyal and how that loyalty is put to the test when ShinkenFemme shows up. Yeah he gets made the butt of some jokes, but he's still a compelling character and a great swordsman.

It was a standard "let's-all-laugh-at-the-foreigner" thing. It couldn't be played exactly straight for Power Rangers anyway, because they are all non-Japanese samurai

I meant in general that nobody likes or respects him. Takeru ignores him, Chiaki and Genta make fun of him, Mako rejects him and Jii criticises him. It's worse in some episodes than others, I would hope PR will portray its Blue in a somewhat better light

He is very loyal though and that trait shines during their most difficult battles, he did have nice character development in that one episode that involves his kabuki buddy. Jii said in one episode when he was sparring with Takeru that Ryunnosuke is a great swordsmen but doesn't have as good as instincts as Takeru.

That was episode 9 IIRC. It also had a reference to seppuku, I think they'll leave that out for Power Rangers

RPM teamup's impossible though, RPM is ahead of 2011 and they don't have a time machine (or else none of that **** woulda happened).

RPM is an alternate universe.

Inter-dimenional wormholes show up, Venjix uses the Morpher he's presumed to be in, becomes evil Ranger Operative Red, tries to take over world, RPM Rangers come through same wormhole, work with new team to defeat Venjix once and for all.

Perfect plot right there.

This. Plus they can use the main villain from the Shinkenger vs. Go-Onger movie as one of Venjix's generals that have been in hiding and him and the red Gedoshuu from the movie would cause ruckus that forces the rangers to morph and then Venjix would take over Scott's body until the two teams force him out.

Man I don't know it would be pretty awesome if they used the Decade crossover footage and just made him a metal hero-of-the-week...

I don't think they could use the Decade crossover because it's part of Kamen Rider Decade and not Samurai Sentai Shinkenger:169:
