Which Sentai Series had the Best Monster/Villlian Design?

Liveman, for it has the awesomeness that is the freakin' Dr Obular.

But on the flip side it has 'Beauty Beast Kemp' which is one of the stupidest main villain outfits I have seen. Yet Volt's other characters all look kinda cool. Obular is an ugly ass monster but still a monster that looks like it'll **** you up. Ashura just looks mean. Mazenda is ...... well okay maybe not Mazenda. Bias is your typical 'Evil Genius with a Conqueror' complex type, and looks the part with a little effeminate details here and there (Make up and dangly feather earrings, there I said it). Then you have Gush, whom is one of the coolest looking costumes I've seen in any show, despite the uber-phallic Giga Phantom Cannon he carries around. As for the actual monster-of-the-week, it's a mixed bag.

Steering away from Liveman, we have the "Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Monster Manual" that is the Dora-Monsters AND the Infershia. Zyuranger was mostly silly anyways but it had Grifferzor/Goldar, who still to this day looks kick ass, but other than him and Lamia/Scorpina the monsters were goofy looking. Magiranger's Infershia on the other hand looked at worst creepy and at best friggin intimidating, but my picks from that series villainwise are the Infershia Gods, as well as Agent X from 'Magiranger Vs. Dekaranger'.

I like some of the monster designs on Megarangers.
Almost all the villains/monsters in Gekiranger.

Well, yeah that walking furball looks a bit weird but they compensate that with its awesome actor and characterisation. Anyway for him and the other two Volt guys (Ashura and Bias), I still prefer their villain characters in Flashman. Seeing them together again in Liveman is cool, though, like a Flashman-villain reunion. :laugh:

I can think of about 478 stupider villain designs, and all of 'em come from Goranger and Ohranger.

Don't know about GoRanger, but OHRanger is what they used to make Power Rangers Zeo right? Than yeah, there are alot of stinkers in that one.

To be honest i think that magirangers monster had pretty cool designs well apart from the first few episodes :redface2: they were stupid but n'ma and the gods where pretty well designed:thumbs: :thumbs: :thumbs:

Gekiranger and Magiranger had some of the best villain designs overall; best grunt design belongs to the mecha Clones for Bioman though (must be the whole marching they do).

bioman had the best grunts and monsters but maskman monster are the most awesome in super sentai history.:buttrock:
