Which old school PR Writer do you miss the most?

I prefer the Disney version of PR because its actually watchable without making me cringe at the acting and the episodes themselves. (Please sign this petition against littering).

Going by the fact the series continues to be popular and is apparently doing better it was under Saban's run suggests that times have indeed changed and the creators are doing a good job of changing the series to fit the new times.

Disney are great marketers, always have been, consistently medicore to inconsistent quality means nothing without the right style, packaging, and promotion.

It's not JUST the current PR series that are airing, PR Generations has to be credited also with keeping the show alive, that means older seasons are maintaining the numbers.

"Doing better than Saban's run", Puh-lease.

Actually, I don't understand your reasoning at all. The series is doing better (which, by the way, it's not; only the merchandise really keeps going strong), so the times have changed? Disney is mainstreaming the show to the point of actually killing anything unique it has to offer. Do you realize that even today, even after other Toku adaptations, PR is still the only show on-air of its kind? And even if it's no longer a trend, it has to offer based on that aspect; offer something that isn't focused exclusively on selling toys? And it's not doing that; it's just one piece from the huge pile of crap that exist for little kids that have to buy toys in the Holiday season.

The only thing the show has to change, concerning 'the times' is leave the '90s cheese factor and adjust in the '00s logic. It doesn't have to be a stale, 20-minute-long toy commercial.

Time Force was written by Judd Lynn and Jackie Marchand.

Wild Force had a different crew of about four people but the only ones whose names I actually remember off the top of my head (and it's kinda embarrassing that I can) are Derrick Rydel and Jill Donovan.

And that's about to change soon with Kamen Rider Dragon Knight going into production. Something tells me PR is going to have a hellatious fight on it's hands. If it doesnt shape up, KR could end up killing it. I'm hoping that this competition will help make PR stronger.
