Where the hell is Lady Mercury?

1 on 1 they were different than on the board.

That's kind of the problem. They don't act like themselves. They seem to think that they need to put on this sort of "internet personality" so that people will think they are cool. I've seen it before on other message boards, and it's really just asinine.

Just be yourself people.

I think it's funny that you'd say something like that about Ladymercury, who was just a step up from a troll, and if I ever say anything that's not like an emoticon the mods jump all over me. They never assume I "just want to have fun."

Or how guys like HaiTien and Z-Unit get lectured in every thread they post in. Sure, they sometimes exhibit some troll-like tendencies, but at least neither of them ever acts like a straight up bitch. Ladymercury went out of her way to piss people off without ever technically "crossing the line," so the mods never got on her case. Personally I think that's way more obnoxious than some of Doggy's outspoken opinions.

Thing is, Merky knew when to stop. Doggy would just kinda push the issue even further.

But I guess we have to agree to disagree.

like its been said, Merk is very busy with work as well as going to school now.

As for Ayumi, she has been very busy with work but unfortunately even in her free time cant aces the board due to her Computer needing repair.

i find the people who have negative things to say about either one of them, do not know them very well besides either a few posts or some PMs passed in between.

Her behavior on the board is the biggest indicator. I shouldn't have to dig through hundreds of pointless, troll-like posts filled with jabs and random inside jokes to know what the person is like "in real life."

Why you would want to spend your free time digging through a persons thread just to try to find something to make a negative comment about them is beyond me.

And no The internet is not an indicator of how a person is in in real life.

Ok dude, you made your point. Like I said, we'll just agree to disagree.

?

Not even talking to you.

Why you would want to spend your free time digging through a persons thread just to try to find something to make a negative comment about them is beyond me.

Alright, as expected you totally missed the point.

Claiming that everybody "doesn't know the real person" because all they've seen are their posts is an asinine argument because it's the member's posts that reflect their behavior and therefore should be the primary (if not sole) reason to judge the person.

Hell, Michael Braunstein could be a multi-millionaire genius philanthropist with a hot wife, but he's a troll to us because he presents himself as a troll.

Why don't you quit bossin' me around?

He didn't say he was digging through a persons posts, you misunderstood what Bolt said.

And I'd have to agree with most of the things Bolt is saying about things in this thread. But meh if I was in charge I would have let Merk and Doggy do as they please and let all things go with the flow.

And no The internet is not an indicator of how a person is in in real life.

This is completely true and it likely applies to everyone on this board, myself included. At the same time however, each person has a responsibility to act and treat others the way they themselves want to be treated. If people begin to know you as a "troll" or a jerk or whatever, it's only because that's all that you've given them to see. It applies to both the internet and real life.
