What's your expectations and hopes for PR 2008?

BRING SERIOUS BACK TO POWER RANGERS, just like PRiS-PRWF!! No more comedy crap, wire-fu and huge explosives!

Of course, it won't happen. :rolleyes2:

Anyway, I'm sure PR 2008 will suck. That's what I'm expecting for next PR.

Dude I think it may suck to you because it's a kids show. Made for 6 to 10 year olds. and you sure don't seem to be a 6 to 10 year old ( not ment to insult) I Agree I would love to see them bring it back Serious rangers, but i also would like to see them have fun with it. I would also like to have the opening to be real music. If it's rap then have real rap. If it rock then have it be a real rock song. No more of this jingle ****. ( Get you mind out the Gutter) I would also like the power rangers not to be set in Cali. There are other States in the U.S. Since it's Martial Arts based how about having the rangers and the two of the villians grown up competing versus each other.

What I expect from PR: Pussy Fighters, I mean, the 2008 PR is PR: Wild Force except with moar kung fu.

I'd would love to see an Asian, heck, even a Japanese Red Ranger. And, no more rookie Red. That plot device is too stale. I would love to see them tribute Voltron, except the anime was last scene on the rival Cartoon Network.

Hmm...

The Red Ranger will be a hot blooded warrior who loves to fight...fat chance...

The Red Ranger and "Black Ranger" will be long lost brothers who are the last surviving members of a bloodline to a sacred fighting technique...maybe in kung fu flicks and anime...but not here.

In addition to the previous statement...their technique involves their beast fusing with them thus creating...a "battlizer"

"Kung Fu Kitty" will be redesigned just like the "Samurai Dog"...most likely...you know...I think all of the animal masters will be redesigned.

The "Five Venoms" will have human forms...yeah right.




...you know...I'll just stick with Gekiranger (despite the show's bizarre Red Ranger)...and I'll just wait for Dragon Knight in 2008.

I expect only 1 asian power ranger, he will claim to be Chinese in the show, but is played by an actor of a completely different race. I also expect many innaccuracies to Martial Arts and Chinese culture. No Martial Art tells you to "Only use your skills for self defense", Disney will put that in there, most Martial Arts tell you to use your skills for "the right thing" and as a source of self expression.

My expectations are pretty low

I think the community has made Power Rangers serious enough.

But seriously, I have no hopes or expectations at this point. I'm tapped out, I no longer care. Every year, since the end of Wild Force, I've always been excited for the PR premieres and I've always been a bit disappointed in some way. In a way, none of the Disney seasons have really lived up to the seasons of PR that made me come back to PR in the first place. NS was the only one that came close for me, followed by SPD.

Blah blah blah. What I'm saying is, again, I don't have any hopes for 2008. I couldn't care less what they do to it, if the main villain is pink, or if the red ranger is a 10 year old kid named Justin. I just don't care anymore. Whatever they do, I just hope it works out for PR in the ratings.
