Tim Burton's new film, Alice in Wonderland, looks totally off-the-wall and awesome. But then again, pretty much all Tim Burton films are. But what the **** is up with this soundtrack?! :disappoin There are some good bands on it. But most of it is so bubblegum pop and hottopicore that it makes me sick! We got fucks like 3OH!3, Avril Lavigne, and Metro Station on here :sick: And hell knows SOMEONE from Fall Out Boy would be on it! Jesus. . .

Read the fine print, cracker. That tracklist is for an Alice-inspired compilation album featuring "reimaginings" of the original film's music, not the actual soundtrack for the Tim Burton film.

I already did. And from what I've read elsewhere, it's the only soundtrack being released for the film. Cracker. :eyebrow:

I can approve of Franz Ferdinand and Robert Smith (assuming this is the Robert Smith from The Cure), but all the others I'm not too crazy about.

Who cares? Just don't buy it. They're not going to be in the movie so there's nothing to worry about.

It's just extremely uncharacteristic of Tim Burton. It really is the companies force marketing this movie totally wrong.

Its like when they rereleased Nightmare Before Christmas. The Revisited Soundtrack was different bands doing their own take on the songs from the songs. Tim Burton has no control over this CD, as its Disney that markets it. There's no need to worry as the movies original soundtrack will indeed be done (or are already done) by Danny Elfman, who Burton has worked together with countless times.

I know. Danny Elfman's scores are amazing. He always has that weird and whimsical sound. But this is gonna get more attention than that. That's why I'm disappointed in their choice. I understand maybe 2 or 3 of those artists, but most are just plain POP!
