What's so good about HEROES?

Hm... i only watched the first episode, and it went way to fast and introduced waay to many character directly.

So yeah, i havn't seen anything more because i thought the character's were too stereotypical. Except the woman with the mirror friend xD

Yup. In Hiro's online blog, he says several times that he wants to be like JoJo and going on adventures all the time. Also, his future self signs one blog entry as Jotaro Kujo.

In episode 2 of the second season, he also yells "MUDA!" at one point.
 
I'll admit I haven't watched a single episode, although I am interested. Just need to find some free time.
 
The Japanese dude is fucking awesome so far and how can anyone not love that blonde girl in the cheerleader outfit, wow.

This series shows me some serious promise.

I don't, I think she's a whiny bitch. It especially doesn't help that I have to listen to my equally bitchy cousin whine every day about how she lost the cheerleader part to her.
