The Forgotten Heroes: Does Wonder Man Deserve More Love?

I've been diving back into some classic Avengers issues and I can't help but feel that Wonder Man gets overlooked way too often! I mean, his character arc from being a villain to a hero brings some real depth, especially in issues like Avengers #9 where he initially battles the team but later becomes a vital member. Plus, I love the exploration of his Hollywood persona in stories penned by Busiek! The idea of a character grappling with identity while juggling superpowers and fame is fascinating, and the depth that was added to his character in the "The Ultron Imperative" storyline was so compelling. Do you guys think there are other storylines where he's shined, or do you think he deserves a solo series to really explore his character further?

Wonder Man definitely deserves more love, especially for that journey from villain to hero you've mentioned. His transformation in Avengers #9 is such a pivotal moment, and I find his struggle with identity as a celebrity really relatable, especially in today's social media age. But I have to admit that I wasn't completely sold on his character in "The Ultron Imperative." It felt like they leaned too heavily into the melodrama without giving him enough agency. I'd love to see a closer look at his psyche in a solo series, but it would need to balance his personal conflicts with some real action to keep it engaging. What stories do you think best showcase that balance for him?
