What Would You Do... If You Were Banned From HJU?

Unfortunately so. ;)

**** that. I have a life but the reason my post count is so damn high is because this and wrestling sites are the only sites I go on. I don't have any other reason to use the internet. Nothing really interests me besides Porn, Toku, Metal, and Concert dates.

According to you, "Internet" is not "life".

I disagree.

The internet is how Faiz and I met. It is part of how we communicate with each other. It is part of how I keep in touch with family, and friends, along with the telephone.

This forum is a place that I've come to call home, a board I have yet to grow tired of, or sick of, or resentful towards.

I have a job, school, friends all outside of the internet. But I consider this life just as much as that.

And you can't judge who has a life by how many posts they make on here per day.

Like I said before, at ASMR I can recall some threads that were more like a chat room then a forum thread where you'd look at the time stamps and realize that these people were replying to each other within seconds and for hours at a time. What's funny is after five years of being an active member there (never reached my 5,000 post mark:() I honestly don't miss it. (The site shut down when the owners went poof.) It would be the same for here and for every site I belong to - even my work and clan.

For me, my home isn't online on any forums. It's with my husband and kids. No forum or online friend will ever take their place. It's pretty sad when I have seen people put more stock in online friendships then real life ones (again, I'm thinking of past posts on ASMR... oh it was bad at times). Of course it's different if your online friends are also your real life friends. That is so different but unless you've met the person or plan to meet someone then how can you consider someone you don't know their real name or they don't know your real name as your friend?

And so what if someone gets tired of a place. Big whoopie ding dong. I get tired of my clan mates from time to time and have "left" the clan for months at a time but it doesn't mean I hate them. I fight with them often and call them assholes all the time. LOL It really doesn't mean I hate them and eventually go back. Hell, I spent the last six months away from them and eventually came back. I may have disagreed with my friends, fought with them, even been furious with them or think that he or she is a complete idiot at that moment in time but is doesn't necessarily mean anything.

And personally, don't take this wrong way guys, but I don't consider anyone here at HJU to be my friend. Acquaintance, yes but friend, no. I can only think of two places where I can consider my online friends to be my real life friends and frankly even at those two places only a handful would I consider a real life friend despite the fact that some of the guys I've known online for almost a decade. Let's put it this way. If I know your real name and you know my real name the chances that I consider you a friend is high. I think only one person here at HJU knows my real name because I told him (and I know his) when we were friends and that person happens to be KingRanger.
:laugh::anime::P

If I were ever to be banned from this place, I would literally call Keith 24/7 and annoy the ever living **** out of him till he reinstated me. Hehehehehe.

What I'd do...cry like a little girl probably.

I still go to Animenation and ToonZone but none of those places are as...personally as thing are here. Oh sure I made friends with the folks over at the Decoder Ring Theatre home on Audiodramatalk.com but...its not quite the same when nobody knows what it means when you tack 'ojaru' at the end of a sentence or make a joke involving 'Climax!'. Ya know?

This is my online home. The first one I had in a LONG time and I'd hate to lose it.
