What Underrated Anime Should I Watch for Unique Storytelling?

[Justin J]

I've been on the lookout for some lesser-known anime that really push the boundaries of storytelling. I've seen popular titles like "Attack on Titan" and "Your Name," but I'm curious about hidden gems that might not have gotten as much love. What underrated anime do you think have unique narratives or inventive storytelling techniques? Looking forward to your recommendations!

One underrated gem I think you might enjoy is "Kaiba." It's a fascinating show with a really unique visual style and an inventive narrative structure that plays with memory and identity in such an interesting way. The world-building is surreal and really pushes you to think about the implications of memory and how we perceive ourselves.

Also, if you're into storytelling that feels fresh, keep an eye out for "Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation." I know it's gained some attention, but the character development and narrative depth really set it apart from typical isekai fare. It's not just about the adventure; it dives deep into the characters' growth in a way that feels both nostalgic and original. What kind of storytelling techniques are you hoping to see?
