The Phantasy Star Series. I've enjoyed every game in it including Episode 3 C.A.R.D. which most people didn't like.

Final Fantasy. Mainly the early ones, I~VI. Though VII and on are okay, I just really love the old ones the most.

I play through the original almost yearly, and VI is one of my favorite games of all time.

It's sad to me that people don't branch out more from the Final Fantasy games. There are tons of great RPG series like Chrono Trigger/Cross, Suikoden, Dragon Quest, Phantasy Star, Persona and yet people just focus on Final Fantasy.

^ I liked Chrono Cross too! can't believe I forgot all about it. :laugh: well, I'm not a big fan of RPG games. I prefer third person action games.

Chrono Cross gets my vote as the most under-rated RPG ever. It never got a fair shake from most people since all they did was compare it to Chrono Trigger(which is over-rated in my opinion anyway). Objectively it's a way better game than Chrono Trigger and one of if not the best Playstation RPGs period.

I loved Chrono Cross too. It has probably my favorite video game soundtrack period.

I've been getting into Phantasy Star since last year. Beat the first one and now on to the second. I'd played PSO before, but I do like the original gameplay the best.

Oh, and Dragon Quest. Dragon Warrior was my first RPG... and I spent 45 dollars on a cart only copy of Dragon Quest V when it was still rare. Love that series too.
