What I thought was good about Masked Rider

As we all know, Saban's Masked Rider was a massive piece of horse ****. It was so bad, many people deny it's very existance. But there are some things about the show that I did like.

1) I liked how the main character was an alien who has to learn who to blend in to human society. Even though they never use it to their advantage.

2) I thought Count Dregon was an ok villian. While his henchmen were basically comic relief, he was the only one who actually sort of a desent bad guy.

Other than that, the show was ****.

The only redeeming thing about Masked Rider was that Count Dregon was a decent villain. Nothing else is interesting.

Masked Rider was an awesome action/sit-com.

The problem is toku fans in general are all about TeH Derkness!!!!ONE!

Kamen Rider is meant to be serious and have a deep story and it wasn't just that. It was because Masked Rider's story was too basic and has been done before.

Let's see, the entire premise of the show is you have an alien escaping from his home planet, he grows up with a small family, and then he becomes a superhero on Earth to fight the villains over there.

Sounds like a poor rehash of Superman, doesn't it?

Plus you had moments that were trying to be funny, but were failing miserably at it.

Not to mention the way they spliced footage with Black RX, ZO, and J were poorly executed. I mean they had times when they blatantly showed Kotaro Minami's face.
