Jessie T. Usher thought 'The Boys' would end his Hollywood career

[DerryCarpenter]

Jessie T. Usher, who plays A-Train in 'The Boys', had some serious doubts about his role, thinking it might be the end of his Hollywood journey. He mentioned, "I thought this was it, I thought this was my last shot." It's wild to think how a show that shook things up ended up being such a big break for him.

Anyone else been rooting for him since then?

A-Train is such a fascinating character, and Jessie T. Usher has really made him his own. I remember watching the first season and being blown away by how the show subverted typical superhero tropes, especially with A-Train's reckless attitude and the dark side of fame. It's impressive to see how Jessie transformed what could have been a career-ender into a standout role, showcasing his range and charm. His journey from doubt to now being a pivotal part of such a hit series is super inspiring. I'm thrilled to see where his career goes from here!
