What exactly is wrong with TV-Nihon subs?

Pre-PR Sentai tend to be a a blur of "meh" for some people. I just recently learned to tell the difference between some.

Yep. Pretty much this. Those coming off Power Rangers will have a harder time with Pre-Zyu teams. Kind of like how Saban has troubles telling their Showa Era Kamen Riders apart. Because clearly, they all just look the same. :)

Amazon?

I'm sorry.. But not being able to tell the difference between LIVEman suits and other suits....

It's not even that. In the link, they clearly spell it out. It says Fiveman, right there. You'd have to NOT LOOK AT IT to miss that.

While I dont dislike their subs, TVN seems to ignore the process of QC a lot of times.

I say this because a lot of the posts on their main page are about something along the lines of: "x release of x show has some mistakes, v2 later" or "here, have a v2 of x release"

Now, to be fair, over-time suffers from this every here and then... but they release their subs a whole lot faster than TVN. There are bound to be mistakes when you work on something at the pace o-t does.

What I am trying to say here is that something subbed by TVN is most likely a week late at the most. What's a couple of more hours or another day in order to make sure they make a good QC and fix the mistakes that they come across?

Just my opinion.

- Edit -

And there you go. Exactly what I am talking about.

Well, what do you expect? Their QC is not for mistake, it's just to ensure the subs are as FLASHY as possible

That's why their Akibaranger release has so many QC, they have to ensure every text that has to be flashy, is indeed flashy, and Akibaranger has way too many of them :P

(that reminds me, was it TV Nihon who translated Marv's "hade ni ikuze" as "let's make this flashy"?)

Let me tell you this, in the professional field, not knowing subject matter is not an excuse for a poor translator.
