What are some of the best Story oriented Toku?

Like Black Fang said, AGITO!!!!

Seriously, one of the best stories that I've ever had the privilege of watching. Another Agito's story line was done beautifully. I'd list other points of the story that were amazing, but I'm wicked tired right now.

How has no one mentioned Agito yet? I would think that would be on the tip of tongues more than Garo.

Even Black Fang sees the blasphemy in this thread that Agito hasn't been mentioned yet except by him and B Samurai (and Fang is the one that said Agito is overrated.......go figure :P )

So I will be the 3rd one to co-sign the demotion..........Agito is the best story oriented Kamen Rider toku

And I stand by it. :D

Anywho... Ultra Galaxy (and NEO), Sazer X, Kakuranger, Ultraman Gaia, Ultraman Nexus, Kamen Rider X, Kamen Rider Hibiki, Ryukendo

And I stand by it. :D

If anything is overrated, it's shows like Den-O, Decade, Boukenger, Gekiranger and Shinkenger. I even think Hibiki is starting to get a bit overrated too, almost like a compensation for how it got overlooked and trashed a few years ago.

How was Ryukendo story-oriented? Most of the episodes were standalones with maybe a minimal amount of connectivity.

Gekiranger may be overrated but it's the only 2000-era sentai I've been able to watch all the way through. All the others I can't stand to make it past three episodes... >>

I hate that word, overrated. People love shows, big deal. Lots of people love shows big deal. IMO that word is used by people to some how make light of what others REALLY love. So what I am saying is that I think using the word overrated, is overrated. :P

And I agree about agito except for two things.

1. Another Agito gives up his life to save people, and the next episode it was like he never existed.

2. the last few episodes of Agito were very anti climactic.

From the recent ones, Agito, Magiranger, GARO, and possibly Cutie Honey The Live. Out of that, Magiranger and GARO stand out more in my mind for my feelings over the characters in the story.

1. Another Agito gives up his life to save people, and the next episode it was like he never existed.

2. the last few episodes of Agito were very anti climactic.

Think he got a mention a bit later so he wasn't completely forgotten, just life moved on. Though agree on the ending, Kuuga felt more like a final battle than Agito's, though Agito's story to that point was better.
