Well, I've done it.

O_o I don't find that assumption very correct. Bolt has expressed he likes Justirisers, and Justirisers' plot really isn't that deep at all. I have to admit it's pretty generic at time, but is executed extremely well. And is a pretty fun series as well...

I agree with Bolt's opinion of Magi. The cast acts like they're 5, the fight choreography is just ridiculously weak. The script and acting is absolutely horrid. The characters are so over the top, how can anyone relate to them or like them? The show is a bunch of bells, whistles and annoying effects. No substance.

Yeah, that whole thing? Your opinion, and I disagreed with pretty much all of it. :)

Please don't post opinions as fact de gozarimasu desu! [/evil plant]

I also have to agree that Magiranger is one of the weakest sentai we've seen in recent years. Sometimes I wonder whether I'm watching a sentai episode or a Doreamon episode ... and that's not a good thing!

Whoa, you really need a visit from the grammar police cause I have no idea what you're trying to say. The only thing I managed to make out was you trying to say that I was trying to pass off my statement as a fact. While it was mainly my opinion of Magiranger and a minor description of Justirisers. The description's purpose was to fix your misconception of Bolt and invalidate your previous argument of your opinion of his interests.

I have no misconception of Bolt, and no where in my post did I say anything about Bolt, other than the fact that I disagree with him. There's no need for you to leap to his defense.

I don't think he was trying to say that I just want to see in-depth plots and "badass" characters like the purple Tin-Man, just that he doesn't necessarily need to watch anything with substance (to which Magiranger aptly applies). Magi has NEGATIVE substance. I felt like I died a little inside after watching the first episode. Then again, I've never been one to jump on the "Whatever's Popular in Modern Tokusatsu" bandwagon, but Magiranger to me is like the sentai equivalent of Harry Potter mixed with lasting appeal that only really appeals to 9 year old girls and 30 year old "otaku." It's the kind of show that goes beyond trying to sell toys and goes right into the region of trying to sell cereal (with Magi-Marshmallows!), and little pink hairbrushes for girls, and plastic shoes with Smokey on them. It's sickeningly sugary and colorful to the point of self-parody, and I can just see someone with a name like VengeanceGOD!!!! running around singing "Go, fight Magi-Magi-Magiranger!"

Hah, well stated, I couldn't agree with you more.

o_O?

I didn't even understand that. Were you trying to insult me, trying to be funny...is liking Magi a huge blow to our friendship or something? 'Cause damn.

It was just a joke about how cutesy Magi is. I mean, they couldn't even make them sound cool in the theme song.

Oh...OHHHH...you were saying VengeanceGOD sounds dark and Magiranger is cutesy...yeah I'm fucking tired. Gotcha.

But damn that song is catchy. Can't get it out of my friggin' head.

Green Ground
Pink Storm
Blue Splash
Yellow Thundaa!!!
Re-id FIYAAA!!!

Eh. Good thing it doesn't bother me.
