If you read through the whole thread, Saiko, I believe it was mentioned that this movie merely holds the same name as the comic, and is not based on the comic at all.

I stopped liking them after the whole miscarraige drama deal. I mean, putting that into comic form, trying to make humor in it (no matter how subtle and tactful) left a sour taste in my mouth. Dont really see the comic the same way anymore and dont care to read further. Its a subject I want out of my "funnies"/

I like it. I don't have a problem with occasional drama in a comedy as long as it doesn't become the entire comic. I'm looking at you Megatokyo.

See, I didn't really have a problem with it, other than it was sooo close with my sister's pregnancy (thank God she had no complications and I have a darling nephew now).

So basically if they had cast the leads from Twilight and replaced computers with occasionally video games, it'd be more or less an exact adaptation of CAD?
