Wagana wa Apollo Geist

Forever Knight

Eye See You
In a 3 episode span this guy alone captures what a baddie should be and I hope the Dophant/W bad guy organization can come up with something as awesome as... lemme think... A REAL FUCKING BAD GUY.

This thread is for both Geist incarnations and even Poltergeist too.

Personally I think Toei needs to hire Igadevil to write ****.

Can someone tell me where all the Apollohype is coming from. I really don't see what makes him so great. I see what makes him greater than Narutaki but not greater than your average villain....

Well, the first thing is he has cool design.
Then he lives more than 2 episodes, just like Kamata/Paradoxa Undead/Abyss :D
And then he still live after Black & Black RX Double Kick-ed him.
Plus, he said 'Onore!'

Me too! :)

The guy who played the new Geist.... what other stuffs/shows has he been on?

Kawahara's been in a bunch of dramas (the long-running "Aibou" series), a couple movies, done some voice over roles, and primarily stage acting with a theater company called "Showma". His only Tokusatsu credit I know of is in an episode of Ryuki (#26, he's the main dude of the bunch threatening Kitaoka, and then ends up being targeted by the monster.)

He looks cool, he's got some significance being a popular underused villain, he had a strong first impression in Decade, and so far the show's villains have mostly been around two episodes and played pretty small roles at that. I don't think anyone is saying he's the greatest villain ever (though he is one of my favorites), but he's a welcome breath of fresh air in a show where the coolest villains have been wasted in two episodes while the annoying old guy who makes threats and then does jack about it is still around, still blaming Decade for everything, but never explaining just why. Narutaki's practically self-parody.

I mean hey, I don't get why people love some characters so much, but they do. What do you consider a great villain to be?

Aw, come on. I actually seriously do want to know what Rider villain you think is great. :)
I really do hate hippies. Why do you think there era ended in 1970? Ichigo did too.
The Heisei era's not really know for it's villians so I can't really give you an answer.....
