I'm not sure if this is the right place to do this but I'm working on a little cartoon/Anime web series that I'm going to be uploading to YouTube, and I'm looking for a voluntary voice actress who will voice one of my characters.
The cartoon series is gonna be about comparing the 2 languages Japanese and Mandarin Chinese, and it'll be presented by 2 fictional Anime girls, one of them's Chinese (Xiāo fà n) and the other's Japanese (Mimi). Some of the episodes are going to have a theme (for example: Food, Animals, Weather, whatever...) and there's gonna be a list of words related to that topic and Mimi's going to say it in Japanese while Xiāo fà n will say it in Chinese.
For example: Mimi's gonna say "寿司" (sushi) and Xiāo fà n is going to say "寿司" (Shòusī).
The show is going to be done just for fun, maybe it'll be a little bit educational although it will never replace a real Chinese and Japanese class.. I've been studying Japanese for about 10 years and have just started studying Mandarin Chinese since late last year, but I'm not intending to get anything out of this project (it's not being done for profit or anything like that), but it's just meant for fun.
Episodes of this cartoon will be uploaded on YouTube and/or a similar website on an irregular basis, and I'm not sure how long the project will last, probably it will keep going for as long as I enjoy making it.
I already have a voice actress who've voicing Mimi, now I need a voice actress who's good at Mandarin Chinese who'll voice Xiāo fà n.
She is a fictional Chinese young adult who has a similar personality to Pai from Virtua Fighter or Chun Li from Street Fighter.
Anybody interested? If so, feel free to leave your voice auditions/samples here.
Females only!! After all, Xiāo fà n is a girl.
