Uncanny X-Men to be "canceled"

Let's be honest it's not, it will take a break for a few months while this two teams idea runs it's course. The only question then is if it will get a new number 1 or re-start the old numbering. The one thing I hate about this is that Marvel is playing this up as something so important they have Greg Land on art. Uncanny X-Men a title that has had some of the greatest artist in the history of the industry work on it and Marvel is promoting it's "final" issue with some of crappiest art tracing ever. That cover is a piece of ****.

LOL, that cover is pretty fucking ugly. I've been reading Uncanny for a couple years now, and I believe this is for the better. They were running out of ideas, I hated the arc where the X-Men had the virus and were fighting the impostors, and the "breakworld" arc is just a shitty sequel to Joss Whedon's epic run. Take some time and come back with fresh ideas

seriously who the hell is greg land banging to keep getting work from marvel, the entire fandom has made it perfectly clear about how they feel about his "art" and yet he still finds work......

Uncanny will be relaunched for sure. A shame though as it's the last Marvel title with a real triple-digit issue number. I mean they can claim that Amazing Spider-Man has 500+ issues or Iron Man & the others all they want but they're not.

With DC finally doing the same thing that Marvel has been doing for years. Pretty much means "Spawn", "Savage Dragon" and "Witchblade" are the longest running titles in the market.

Ultimately it's the content in the book, not the number on the cover that's important. But still, I find that just a little bit sad.

No actually the "longest running" title will be Archie which is in the 600's, then I think Hellblazer which is nearing 300.
