[JFC MOD EDIT] Going to move this to the Commerce Planet section, as it's more appropriate there.

THREAD PUNTING POWERS, ACTIVATE!

When the world is threatened by alien invaders and giant prehistoric monsters, there is only one agency equipped to handle the situation: The Science Patrol, an ultra-sophisticated police force equipped with high-tech weaponry and spacecrafts. Led by Captain Muramatsu, the team defends the planet from the unknown. Unbeknownst to the team, one of their members, Hayata, has the ability to transform into the giant superhero from Nebula M7B, Ultraman, when all their weaponry can't stop their foes.

BCI Eclipse has announced the October 14th DVD release of Ultraman - The Complete Series. The 6-disc set runs 880 minutes and costs $49.98 SRP. Video is full-screen, and audio has both English and Japanese options. English subtitles are also included. Here's a look at the packaging:

The packaging on that looks much more appealing than the separate volumes... heck yeah though, I'm picking this up.

If BCI licensed Ultraman from Tsuburaya for this set then I'd be willing to double-dip. Just to support the right company this time.

If it's still from their deal with Chaiyo then I'll just stick with the sets that I already have.

Yeah, I forgot all about that. I'm curious if this set is licensed by Tsuburaya. If it's Chaiyo, I probably won't buy it.

Sooooooo how is this one gonna compare with the other release?

EDIT: Nevermind. Same company...
