forever knight. could you posibly discribe the difference between your everyday ultraman and your rare ultraseven?

The question is when does seven lose energy as apose to man. 3 mins or longer?

Jedi, when it comes to Sentai, KR, Henshin Heroes, Metal Heroes, Toho Heroes, or Bolt's Mom, I know a good amount.

But the one thing I'm still new at is Ultras. Ur best bet is to ask the big Ultra fans here at HJU, which I seriously didn't even know existed. It's like U7X has burst a flame in the popularity of Ultraman.

From what I remember, Seven comes from the "Red Tribe" of Ultras which tends to be sans Color Timer, save for Max (although I doubt the Red Tribe even exists in that universe so go fig) and Taro who is a fusion of a regular Ultra and Red Tribe.

Some fans have even gone so far as to joke that Taro is really the secret love child of the Mother of Ultra and Seven as Father of Ultra was believed to still be dead after his sacrifice during the two episode arc of Ultraman Ace.

Examples of Red Tribe: Seven's Superior, Ultraman Chuck (Somebody correct me as I think I mixed him up with Scott), Seven 21

I don't think there was ever a set limit to Seven but the lamp has been known to blink in certain situations. (i.e Energy drains, cold climate, etc)

The regular Ultras on the other hand do vary on Color Timer limits depending on where they hail from. Leo, for example, only had two minutes of transformation time. In this case, you have to remember that sometimes, three minutes doesn't literally mean three minutes

the UltraMAN is also a title too ... we can see Zoffy as only ZOFFY without any titles of Ultra~.

Scott is definitely the one you're looking for. He's the one who looks like Seven.

Ultraseven (ahem, I :laugh never had any time limit. The Beam Lamp blinking meant that fatigue (and/or the weaknesses below) was catching up on Seven.

the only weaknesses Ultraseven (I *coughs*) has is darkness and extreme cold.
