What a disappointment.

[HIDE]Honestly, this was just another episode. I didn't feel any excitement or any sense of OMG! IT'S THE FINALE because the whole thing felt like it was kust another bland filler episode with ten times more exposition and a fan service cameo in hopes to salvage this gigantic anti-climax.

I'm really starting to develop a mild dislike of the whole "Holy crap guys, We DO Have a Plot So Let's Hurriedly Wrap Everything Up In Two Episodes During the Homestretch" formula. People should have learned from Gunbuster 2, throwing all your continuity into one episode at the last second does not cover up bad planning/writing.

Same goes for the fan service in this episode. Yes it was nice seeing Dan and Anne again but it's disappointing that it had to be in this series which suffered from lack time and (writing) talent. Really glad that we have Ultra Galaxy to make up for this, otherwise I will not miss this show.[/HIDE]

Yep, this episode might have made a nice random episode, but falls short to fit under "finale."

I'm hoping I will change my mind, to some level, when I see a translated version of it, althought I figured most of it out.

I personally enjoyed the finale but it definatley needs subs so hopefully TVN gets to eps 8-12 soon.

Awesome to see Dan in the finale too.

Everything about this series was good except the lack of giant battles and I think it needed much more than just 12 episodes.

Maybe we'll see an Ultraseven X2 sometime in the future.
