Cosmos isn't really all that bad. The premise of 'healing' monsters over destroying them is a fresh take for the franchise. Especially when the whole story arc is about the Chaos Header infecting peaceful Earth-based monsters. But I can understand why some people do not like it precisely because it goes against the grain of conventional Ultraman series.

The idea was interesting but I couldn't stand the characters and the effects were just off somehow. All the terrible, terrible CGI didn't help.

There's a set of dubs, actually. I've only watched the first episode of them, but it wasn't too bad, if I recall correctly. They're available in the "Tsuburaya One-Stop" thread. :thumbs:

Just saw them get the Phoenix monster and Rei fly in on it for the rescue. LOVED IT!
