I think you guys are missing KingRanger's point entirely. He's not as dumb as he initially comes off...

What he's pointing out is, there is nothing to "cure". He's taking the stance that; Why would someone want to cure someone of being gay is the same as saying, why would someone want to cure someone of being white? or red headed? or Irish? It's just who you are.

Basically this topic could be titled .. "Uganda debates death penalty for people who like the color blue", and you'd be standing there going "gwah?!". It's the same thing.

Which is a stance I also believe in. . . . Well, not the killing/blue thing, ya know; the gay is nothing out of the ordinary thing.

If those scientists are right that homosexuality is genetic, and they can pin point the genes that cause it, and they 'correct it'... You see where i'm going with this. If we find an off button, people will line up for miles for a 'cure.'

Human genetic engineering? Not going to happen. The HRC kind of suck but even so they wouldn't let this pass, and it's hundreds of years away anyway, if at all.

people want to stop homosexuality because its a "sin" and they won't go to heaven, honestly how does someone commiting a sin affect ur life? That's none of ur business, let them go about their life.

Just to point out a logical fallacy in that...

Murder is a sin. It's against one of them there 10 rules of stuff you don't do.

Homosexuality...well, there's this one guy who said something about, "Love thy neighbor as you would yourself". What was his name. He's pretty famous for something...

Either way, anyone being an anti-homosexual at all, is a sinner. Much more so than the homosexuals ever could be for being homosexual.

I dont' think being anti-homo is a sin

I think homosexuality is a sin, but they choose to do it, and I'm not the person who will judge them when they die. its not my job.

even if you believe in God or not. is wrong what they do, I'm not against it. I'm not with it. but deep inside, you know that 2 guys or 2 girls together is wrong

I'm not being anti homosexual right now. I'm just saying that is a sin. I have gay friends and gay co workers. they know is a sin. but all they say is that they were made that way

but about gay marriage...I really don't give a crap if its gay or straight

heck. most of the time when straight people get married, they only last 5-7 years together, when gay people...most of the time last together a lot more

plus I think marriage is crap. just a way to promise one another that they will be together and support each other. and while saying it, they are lying through their teeth. they don't mean it. divorce in 5 years.

I think a marriage is when its real and they mean it, you don't really have to get married in life. just find someone who is true to you as you are to her/him.
