"Ya, though at the same time I feel that the feeling you get after you fire can be pretty nice as well." he told him. "You stare down your target and shut everything out as you aim the gun and then you fire." he said before pausing. "Then there is that moment of uncertainty where the shot flies toward your enemy while you wonder if it will make contact or not, the tension builds like crazy. But then the shot hits and the tension lets loose the moment it hits and gives you a feeling of sheer awesomeness." he said in conclusion. "I did a little sniper training myself before coming to Shikon"

A young woman wearing glasses with long, black, wispy hair was heading towards the cafeteria to get some food and also to check on her mobile suit assignment when a few of the students in the halls started to jeer her.

"Look, it's little miss spacenoid..."
"She's cute! Think space women make good girlfriends?"
"Why couldn't she just get her training in space?"

A frown developed on her face as these words hurt the young woman, but she had learned not to take them too much to heart. Reaching the Cafeteria, she noticed the young man known as Acer and Kyle Raynor talking to each other. Are they on the same team this time? I hope I don't have to fight either of them. Then again, being with them could be scary as well... With slight worry on her face, she checked the assignment sheet for Raynor and Acer's names first, in light of the situation. Raynor's GM leader this time...Acer's on the Zaku squad...What about me and Mari?

Looking down the GM list, she noticed both her name -- Rena Takashima -- and Mari Kaido's, her friend, on the list. Yeah! I won't have to fight against Mari! That's great! A slight smile developed on her face as she looked around, noticing that Mari wasn't in the room. She must have went to her usual spot... Quickly going through the line to get her food, she left the Cafeteria to go find Mari and to tell her the good news.

Meanwhile, in another part of the campus, Mari sat underneath the shade of a tree in the campus grounds, taking refuge away from the crowds inside the campus building. From the corner of her eye, however, she noticed a group of students pass by, giving her all sorts of mean looks. Whatever.....at least I got in here through my own merits Mari snorted, closing her eyes in order to take a nap, still annoyed and hurt that people mistreat her for not having any military connections, as well as her being from a colony that was regarded as weak. However, her nap would be short-lived as she noticed an attractive young woman with long, wispy black hair and glasses approach her, carrying with her a plate of food and a carton of milk. "I'm so sorry, Rena. I'm not really in a great mood at the moment," Mari told the young woman, letting out a deep sigh as she leaned back on the tree.

Rena saw Mari's glum mood and knew how she was feeling. Like Mari, Rena didn't have any military connections and Libot's neutral stance during the war didn't make things any easier for her. Sitting under the shade of the tree, she placed her food in front of her and hoped that the news she brought would cheer Mari up. "Did you see on the assignment sheet, Mari? I'm on the GM team with you! Isn't that great?!" She said happily, deciding to start on her hash browns first, taking a bite from one of them.

Arai came back out with a new set of breakfast tray giving them Agisa, He pulled her over "follow me Sempai" He said and walked over to another part of the campus. "Arai-san you can stop calling me Sempai, we are the same year" Agisa said following close by then she suddenly stopped behind him. when she looked over to see the two people under a tree in front of her. "okay I'll stop calling you Sempai, but you should try making friends with them agian" Putting extra packets of Sweet cake on Agisa's tray he gently pushed her over to motivate her. "Go and shre those" Arai said as she nodded with a more serious yet childish face as she approached the two girl.

"hel....llo.. Hello!...Im... going to be part o...of..of ..GM teaam...Team... Nice to meet mme meet you" Agisa shuddered in front of the two girl before sitting down and making and offering of the extra sweet cakes one of each on the girls's tray.

Arai watched from close by listening in "Good for you Agisa" he said quietly and stepped away. Before Mari or the other spacenoid noticed him, I wonder how Rena is doing I haven't spoken to her for a bit. Remembering that The fact of the matter is only Himself an Rena came from Space. It was a tough subject at the school a girl from Labot and A guy from Vaun Braun. A colonist and Lunarian in a Federation academy. "whatever" He said quietly walking in the hallways recieving glares from some other student.

It wasn't long after Rena told Mari the good news of them being on the same team that Agisa, another member of their squad, came over nervously and introduced herself. She offered some sweet cakes to the two women. Agisa has never shown any ill will towards me, but she is very clumsy... With a smile, she accepted Agisa's offering. "Hello, Agisa. I hope the three of us can work well together." She took another bite from her hash brown. "A-Ah, yes. I-I hope so too, R-Rena." Agisa nervously said. Rena giggled a little over Agisa's nervousness and noticed Arai walk off.

Arai...I'm sorry I haven't talked to you lately. I've been busy studying for the upcoming assingment. Now we have to fight each other... Rena snapped out of her thoughts, however, and continued to cheerfully eat her breakfast and chatting with Agisa and Mari.

Acer smiled at Kyle. "Good. Glad to see another sharpshooter in the building." He said, grabbing a soda out of the chill chest in front of them. "Here's hoping the fight goes well. Cheers." He said, raising the cup, popping the tab, and took a drink. He nodded to Kyle, and went to go sit at a table. Looking around, he saw all the competition, and his teammates. Looking at their personalities, he took out a piece of paper and started to draw the possible movements and strategies he could accomplish with the team. Although he wasn't the leader this time... He might as well help out.

Before she could respond to Rena's good news, Mari, with one eye open, noticed Agisa and Arai approach her, taking note of Agisa's extreme anxiety. As she focused her one open eye to Agisa, she suddenly noticed that Agisa began to fidget a bit more than usual, and surmised that maybe she was not giving out the right impression. "Don't be scared, Agisa. I'm not mad at you at all. I'm not really having a good day so far, that's all," Mari told Agisa as calmly as she could, hoping that the nervous young woman would feel at ease.

Agisa gave a sigh of relief, thinking that her earlier run-in with Mari was what caused the pink-haired girl's bad mood, though she was still a little nervous. Rena had finished up her hash browns and decided to start on her sausages next. She picked one up and thought maybe it would be good to talk about their team leader. "That Raynor guy is supposed to be in charge of our squad...just to let you know, Mari, I'm a little disappointed as well. I feel like they chose him as squad leader only because of his name. Why can't they let one of us unknowns shine for once..." She sighed, taking a bite from the sausage link. "Oh, well. We'll just have to make sure to do as good, if not better than him, right?" She said in her usual optimistic tone to both women. "Um, I-I guess..." Was all Agisa could manage to get out, nervous that Rena was talking so lightly of their squad leader.

(ooc...nothing to do really...and it's 5 am I need to sleep)

Arai went back to the cafeteria with all the situation going around, he needed to get breakfast for himself. By this time there wasn't much of anything left but leftovers but the chef who was very gentle and kind made Arai and Omlette.

"Let me have that to go please" Arai asked politely as the food was handed to him in a box. He went on ahead and exited the line running into Kyle onces agian.

"Hey I'm going back to the room, you might as well get alittle rest before they call us up for anything, If I'm right everything is scheduled after 11 and it's about 8 now" Arai reminded Kyle in his usual manor then went on back to the hall way heading to the dormitory.
