TRON-style Marvel comics

wow....i think this is what everyone was afraid of when Disney bought the rights to Marvel....cheap and shameless , unrelated tie-ins just to promote their material....awesome..:redface2:

Apparently you didn't see all those Vampire themed alternate covers they did.

But more than likely this is to promote the fact that somebody, themselves to be exact, is finally doing a comic book adaption of the original Tron movie.

Oh my theme variant covers! Marvel has been doing this for years starting with I believe zombie variants after Marvel Zombies became a hit. There are valid reasons to hate Disney, stuff like this isn't it.

Also frankly I am waiting for Disney to get their hands further into Marvel since Disney actually knows what they are doing. Disney's foreign comic operations especially in mainland Europe have always been strong. Along with the resources and connections Disney has on hand they could really turn Marvel around.

See, this is what I mean about Spider-Woman and Ms. Marvel enjoying newfound popularity. And also why they should be in MvC3.

I wasn't arguing about them. My compliant was having X-23 and She-Hulk when Wolverine and the Hulk were already present. I still stand by my dislike of X-23. She is only popular due to Quesada pushing her at us, due his weird interest in her ever since he wrote her into NYX.

The complaints about this are idiotic. They're just variant covers, and they look cool. People just like to find things to get mad about.

I like Tron. I like these characters. I've got no problems with this. Hell, the Iron Man version looks like something that could actually show up in the comic.
