hi, im uploading videos from the game of the power rangers ninja storm in japanese, somebody tell me that in japanese its something about hurricanger, iono, but it will be nice somebody that can tell me what the hell are sayng in japanese, i have a lot of curiosity, if you like the video or the hurricangers or whatever its called the japanese version, ok, if not, just ignore this thread, this is the link for the first that i uploaded:

It's called Ninpu Sentai Hurricanger, thats the name of Blue, Yellow and Red.
The Beetle ones (Navy and Maroon) are called the Gouraiger, and the green one is called Shurikenger.

Names:
HurricaneBlue-Nanami
HurricaneRed-Yousuke
HurricaneYellow-Kouta
KabutoRaiger (Maroon)-Ikkou
KuwagaRaiger (Navy)-Isshu
Shurikenger-Shurikenger, he is trapped in his Shurikenger form, he takes the disguise of a different person each episode

What they are saying? I don't know really, I didn't see that much of Hurricanger.

And just letting you know Hurricanger is not Power Rangers Ninja Storm in Japanese. Ninja Storm is Hurricanger in english. Hurricanger came first, The Sentai always comes first.

And the Ninja Storm rangers don't have a kick ass role call

But anyway, lets put it this way, Hurricanger is not Ninja Storm in Japanese, but Ninja Storm is not Hurricanger in English either.

Basically, they are both seperate shows. The only thing they have in common is limited to the suits, the mecha/zords and the battle footage that Ninja Storm took from Hurricanger.

Same goes with every other Sentai and PR Series (apart from GoRanger to Jetman).

One thing that HaiTien78 said that was true was that Hurricanger came before Ninja Storm.

Super Sentai has been around since the 1970's, and lasted throughout the 1980's, the 1990's and the 2000's.

The American Power Rangers started in 1993, basically they took battle footage from 1992's ZyuRanger, cut it up and spliced it with American footage (occaisionally they did do their own fight scenes).

So, Power Rangers isn't quite an English version of Super Sentai, just an American TV show "based" on Super Sentai, and Super Sentai was the Japanese show that became the basis of Power Rangers.

As you can tell by the OP, the characters, etc are completely the same, there's still Yousuke, Nanami, Kouta and co, only difference is it's in Cantonese. And English version would be like the Cantonese, but in English.

V_V_V!!!! i am not sayng that its the same thing, just read this and tell me if i am right or wrong! the "morphed" sentai or power rangers or whatever its called, and the megazords, are the same? arent? i know that probably the story of the two shows probably are like 90% diferent or something, but the actually power rangers and the megazords aren the same? well taking that its yes, i just wanna know what they say, because i have the game for playstation, but its in japanese and they talk like crazy, as i said in other thread, the last SABAN power rangers version that i watch was the firsts episodes of the time force and previously, the lightspeed rescue, and i never watch any sentai version, because i dont understand absolutely anything of japanese, so i just wanna know if its the same that they say in the show or something special for the game, but aparently its the same of the tv show arent?

If you want to understand what the characters are saying, then 2 possibilities would be..

Subtitles!!
TV Nihon have subbed lots of Sentai, Tokusatsu, Anime and other Japanese shows. They're downloadable on BitTorrent. Unfortunately they haven't subbed Hurricanger yet but they've subbed DekaRanger, MagiRanger, Boukenger, GekiRanger and some episodes of Changeman and DaiRanger and they're worth checking out. Oh, and if you join their forums, you'll have to follow their rule of NOT mentioning the word "Power Rangers".

You can also buy HK Bootleg DVDs, which have optional English and Chinese subtitles. I personallky wouldn't reccomend it but that's up to you. The reason why I wouldn't reccomend it is because the picture quality can be naff and the subtitles can be poor. Sometimes they would change Japanese characters names to Chinese (eg: "Kotaro" to "Guangtaolong") they would have sentences that don't make much sense (eg: "Maribaron, I will accept your entertainment") sometimes they would throw in rude words such as the "f" word, "s" word, "Gao Main Bastard", "Scorpion Penis", "Do you is f**king?".. The picture quality can be naff too. I have a HK DVD set of Hurricanger. Half of the episodes looked fine while the other half of the episodes looked fadey, they looked like they were recorded on broadcast TV, and had that annoying clock thingy at the top left.

But mainly I'd not reccomend them simply because they're bootlegs. Official DVDs from Japan are in Japanese without English subtitles. Unfortunately they can be pricey. I brought a 2 disc set of Jetman for about £50 - ish.

well, thanks, but i not going to learn japanese just for one or two games that i have in japanese, and the videos, actually, i imagine that they say the same as in the show, so are a gift to everyone that wants to watch it enjoy it ^_^_^
