Transfomers: Cybertron....What the

I've watched some random episodes of Cybertron , and have to say that it's -very- weak in comparison to Galaxy Force (from what I have gotten the chance to watch) , and can someone explain why the hell they only change specific music tracks in the dub? And usually some of the nicest ones? (i.e : Galaxy Convoy's super mode , for example, and it's replaced by the generic remix of the G1 theme..)
Saw two episodes and multiple clips of Superlink , thought it was alright , better than Energon , yes , but not the greatest TF (or anime) series out their either.
Can't comment too much on the Japanese G1 series, but I watched a large portion of Masterforce (up to when Ginrai got his trailer and became Super Ginrai) but had to delete episodes after that;I liked what I saw though.

RF , thank you for liking Car Robot , because I think that it is one of the most under appreciated TF series out there. Hell , the designs in that series were fantastic , and so were the toys *Fire Convoy = :buttrock: * , but since it was so , er , "simple" most people seem to ignore it.

Anyways , yeah , alot of the Japanese TF series can be better than the US ones at times , but also they can be much more childish , which can also get a bit annoying. Either way , if you ask me , Galaxy Force is better than Cybertron. Period.

Can't comment too much on the Japanese G1 series, but I watched a large portion of Masterforce (up to when Ginrai got his trailer and became Super Ginrai) but had to delete episodes after that;I liked what I saw though.

I've seen G1 both in US and JP version, and I feel they're just the same except the voice and music is changed in the JP version. I have some avi's lying around for those interested and I'm hoping to own G1 in both version on DVD .... some day :sweat:

And not to my surprise, did anyone notice what they just did on Cybertron? Hotshot, Red Alert, and whoever else got gunned down by Megatron only for them to return in the next episode with new super powered forms. And they all get to use their new power up attacks.

Seriously, if three autobots powered up using full powered attacks doesnt KILL a decepticon, what the **** does?

That's a major problem with the TF animes. No effing realism in the battles. I know G1 wasnt perfect but at least if an Aubot got blasted enough he's seriously injured. In the anime, they can blast one decepticon with all kinds of powerful blasts but the Decepticon comes away unharmed really.

There's no line. They can just blast each other with Cyber planet keys over and over and no one will really die or get injured consistently. Only when they want to make way for a powered up form will an autobot or decepticon get hurt or die.

God it's so stupid.

They fired at Megatron? **** no it wasn't going to kill him, or even bother him really. He's motherfucking Megatron.

And TFs have been coming back in more powerful forms since TF's movie, so you've got no standing there. Same as being damaged. It happened when the plot needed it to, never when it didn't. Even if it would've been realistic for someone to be hurt. Do you own G1 or is this all just memory?


I was going ask someone that was watching (and knew what they were talking about).....what's with the Cyber Planet Keys? Aren't there just four? How come ALL the Autobots and Decepticons seem to be able to use them at the same time?
