/co/ is for Marvel and DC and other western animations. This makes no sense....
Then again, non of 4chan makes sense. /m/ thinks pen and paper is more mecha than Kamen Rider. :laugh:

I am kind of sympathetic to the "Kamen Rider is not /m/" argument. Even though Kamen Rider does feature mechanical designs... I mean, so do shows like My Mama's In Fourth Grade. I think Kamen Rider is discussed on /m/ because mecha fans tend to like it and there's not a single other goddamn 4chan board where discussion of it would fit.

I mean, /m/'s Kamen Rider threads are treasures and I'd hate to see them not happening? But ideally it seems to me they'd happen on a /tk - tokusatsu/ board where people could discuss live-action Japanese (and Asian) special effects stuff. Maybe someone should email moot about that.

I think anime and manga tends to get discussed on /co/ because a lot of people like to discuss it in comparison to what American and European comics and animations are like, what's good and bad. Also, /co/ posters tend to like different stuff than /a/-- there's less interest in moe and more interest in vintage shows like FotNS and gritty, atypical manga like Berserk and JoJo's.
