Why would you expect realism in a game where you fight demons, gods, giant spiders and undead vikings among other things?

At the time, the graphics looked very realistic to me.

It is a game, well kinda. I mean about as much as Space Ace or Dragons Lair were games.

I'm just taking a guess here, but I assume the Akira game is the Famicom one, right? I believe it was a point and click adventure game.

Also, Gunstar Heroes isn't underrated. If you want an underrated Treasure game, go with Alien Soldier, Silhouette Mirage, or Astroboy. It's kind of a shame Treasure doesn't like making sequels.
